Today we decided to do something we don't normally do. . . Let our kids play with play-doh! They have played with it before, and have received alot for gifts. . . but I usually suggest other(less messy) activities. Well, not anymore! Today. . and I feel many more days to come. . .we are playing with it. The kids had a blast! I bet we spent over and hour. . .all of us. . .at the table making fun things! It really was fun. . and messy. . .but I guess that is one reason why it is so much fun. We have hard wood floors, so clean-up was not too bad! Of course, we had to start off by making a few simple rules:
1. Play-Doh must stay on the table at all times!
2. We do not put the play-doh in our mouth!
3. Do not feed it to the dogs!
Overall the activity was a hit! The rules were easy to follow and we are now going to let the kids play with Play-Doh. . . as long as we can keep it under control! We have so much stored up, that the mixing of colors. . .and what dried out while on the floor was just thrown away and replaced with fresh! We salvaged what we could and then moved on! What a fun Saturday morning with the whole family:) Thanks Play-Doh. . .you aren't so bad after all!
