Happy 4th Birthday Thomas!

Today we helped celebrate Thomas Clark's 4th birthday! His parents are friends of ours from Union University. . .Chris and Ashley Clark. We have been hanging out with them this summer and our kids are now little buddies. . .it has been so much fun! His party was at Longview Heights Baptist Church. . .directly across the street from our sub-division:) It was in the gym because there were two huge moon bounces for the kids to play on. . . they were a hit! One was a real long train with a slide on the inside. . .and the other was Jurassic Park! They had a blast! We are so glad that we got to help celebrate Thomas's 4th birthday and we look foward to many more adventures together! Hope it was a great one Thomas!!!

Thomas was all excited about his "special cupcakes"!
He has so many allergies his mommy made these just for
him. . .I must say they were Yummy!
Thomas blowing out his candles!
Presents are always fun!
Drew was good at making birthday noise!

He even taught Kendall how to do it!

Kendall and Karis (and baby) taking a break from jumping!

They had it all to themselves for a little while!

his daddy has the magic nap touch!

All My Dreams Came True

I will preface this story by saying that this summer my kids have really been into frogs! Kendall has some small rubber tree frogs, we have seen them at the zoo, and Amanda has them all in her yard. Drew has spent many days searching for some of the smallest tree frogs you could possibly imagine. They love them! After the birthday party, we ran a few quick errands. It was getting dark when we got home. I walked to the trash can to throw something away. . .and I saw it. . .a huge frog! I called for Drew and Kendall to come look at what I found. They were so excited. After Drew looked at him for a minute. . .without saying a word. . .he looked at me and said
"Mom, All my dreams came true. . .I have little tree frogs and a big tree frog!"

What a sweet little boy! I am so glad that Brent caught the end of our conversation and heard him, too. It was sooo cute! He was sooo excited about that frog. . .we let him touch it. . .and Brent took a few pictures of him before he hopped away! Sorry they are a little blurry, but you get the "picture"! So enjoy. . . Drew's backyard frog:)
Here is Drew and Kendall's new pet. . .our frog!

Drew touching him gently before he hopped to safety!
